Lima - Arequipa - Puno – Cusco

 DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PERU

Assistance with your arrival in the Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima and transport to the hotel to spend the night.

DAY 2: LIMA - CITY TOUR – AREQUIPA   (B-WL)

City Tour in the morning, we the the Plaza of San Martin, Main Plaza of Lima the Government Palace, Catherdral Basilica, Archbishop’s Palace, Municipal Palace, Convent and Church of San Francisco and the famous Catacombs.  In the afternoon we leave for the city of Arequipa, installation in the hotal. Spend the night.

DAY 3: AREQUIPA - CITY TOUR - SANTA CATALINA MONASTARY   (B-BL)

City Tour in the morning of the city of Arequipa, we visit the Mirador of Carmen Alto, Mirador of Yanahuara, its Plaza and church, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Church of the Compañía de Jesús and finally the monastery of Santa Catalina. Free time. Spend the night.

DAY 4: AREQUIPA - COUNTRYSIDE TOUR   (B)   “YOU CHOOSE” 

Countryside Tour in the city of Arequipa, visiting the Iron Bridge, Incalpaca factory, the Mirador of Sachaca, Mansion of the Founder, Mill of Sabandia and finally the terraces of Paucarpata. In the afternoon there is time to relax and we spend the night in Arequipa.

DAY 5: COLCA CANYON – THERMAL BATHS – FOLKLORE SHOW   (B-BL)

Tour of Colca Canyon, we pass by the Nacional Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca habitat of vicuñas and alpacas; appreciating the fauna y flora of the higher andes, the Mirador of the Volcanoes. Arrival in Chivay and installation in our hotel. In the afternoon a visit to the thermal medicinal baths of La Calera. A night with a folklore show before passing the night in the hotel.

DAY 6: CROSS OF THE CONDOR – TRADITIONAL TOWNS - SILLUSTANI – PUNO   (B-BL)

Very early we leave for the Mirador at the Cross of the Condor, here you can appreciate the condors in their majestic flight, we return to Chivay passing through some traditional towns, the Hanging Tombs, the Litomaqueta. In the evening we carry on to the city of Puno, during the journey we visit the Chullpas of Sillustani, the Lake Umayo. We arrive in Puno to spend the night.

DAY 7: LAKE TITICACA - UROS AND TAQUILE   (B-TL)

Tour in the morning of the Floating Islands of Uros and the Island of Taquile, where we get to know more about the people and their culture.  In the afternoon we return to Puno. Spend the night.

DAY 8: TURISTIC ROUTE MANCO CAPAC: PUNO – CUSCO   (B-BL)

Tour on the route from Puno to Cusco, appreciating La Raya (Knot of the Andean Range), Raqchi (Temple of the god Wiracocha), Andahuaylillas (The Cistene of America), arrival in Cusco, transfer to the hotel. Spend the night.

DAY 9: CUSCO - CITY TOUR AND NEARBY RUINS   (B)   “YOU CHOOSE”

City Tour in the City of Cusco, visitng the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha, Tambomachay, Puca pucara, Kinko and Sacsayhuaman. Return to the hotel. Spend the night. 

DAY 10: VALLEY SACRED OF THE INCAS   (B-BL)

Tour of the Sacred Valley, centre of Inca richness, visit to the archaeological centre of Pisac and it’s artesan market, Urubamba, fort and city of Ollantaytambo, town of Chincheros and church. Return to Cusco. Spend the night.

DAY 11: TRAIN – MACHUPICCHU – AGUAS CALIENTES   (B)

Departure in train to Aguas Calientes, closest town to the ancient city of Machupicchu, installation in the hotel, and departure in bus to Machupicchu, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, appreciating all the magic of the ancient city: the Principle Plaza, Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Clock, the 4 Royals, and personal time to enjoy a walk around the city, transfer to the hotel. Spend the night.

DAY 12: AGUAS CALIENTES – CUSCO   (B)

Excellent opportunity to get up early and observe a beautiful dawn and jaunt around Aguas Calientes. Optionally you could visit the Thermal Baths. In the afternoon we return by train to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel. Spend the night 

DAY 13: MORAY – SALTMINES OF MARAS   (B-BL)

Visit to Moray, gigantic natural pools that were used to construct their terraces with their respective irrigation channels. Later we visit the Saltmines of Maras, and impressive complex of salt exploitation. Return to Cusco.

DAY 14: CUSCO – LIMA   (B-SD)   “YOU CHOOSE”

Transfer to the airport to the destination of the city of Lima.  Arrival and hotel transfer.  Special dinner, courtesy of Cumbres Andinas. 

DAY 15: DEPARTURE   (B)

Transfer to the Jorge Chávez Inernational airport at the indicated tour to take the outward bound flight.
