Lima – Arequipa – Puno - Cusco

 DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PERU

Assistance with your arrival in the Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima and transport to the hotel to spend the night.

DAY 2: LIMA - CITY TOUR – PARAGLIDING – AREQUIPA   (B-WL) 

City Tour in the morning, we shall visit the Plaza San Martín, the main Plaza of Lima, Government Palace the Basilica Cathedral, Archibishop’s Palace, Municipal Palace, Convent and Church of San Francisco and the famous Catacombs. In the afternoon PARAGLIDING or PARA MOTOR for 30 min., an unforgettable experience. Leave the city for Arequipa and installation in the hotel, Spend the night.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Age: 7 to 80 years, use trekking boots with high ankle support, don’t need to have prior experience to Paragliding or Paramotor  Tandem because an experienced pilot will accompany you. 

DAY 3: AREQUIPA - CITY TOUR - SANTA CATALINA MONASTARY   (B-BL)

City Tour in the morning in the city of Arequipa, we visit the Mirador of Carmin Alto, Mirador of Yanahuara, it’s Plaza and church, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Church of the Compañía de Jesús and finally the Monastary of Santa Catalina. Free time. Spend the night.

DAY 4: HORSE RIDING TOUR FULL DAY   (B-LB) 

Pony trekking Tour around the countryside of arequipa for 6 hours, following the Route of “Loncco”, appreciating impressive pre-inca terraces,natural water fountains that appear from underground and colonial houses. Return to the hotel for the evening. Spend the night.

DAY 5: RAFTING IN THE RIO CHILI   (B) 

Excellent experience in the Rio Chili, collection at hotel to descend 6 km in 1hour and 45min. in the water. Return to the hotel. Spend the night.

DAY 6: TREKKING IN THE CANYON OF COLCA: CABANACONDE –SAN JUAN OF CHUCCHO – COSÑIRHUA   (B-L-D) 

Tour of the Colca Canyon, leaving from the town of Cabanaconde, and starting to descend into the canyon, alter 3 hours we cross the Río Colca, and after 1 hour we arrive at San Juan de Chuccho, we have lunch and after an hour of walking we arrive at the town of Cosñirhua. We have dinner then spend the night in a basic lodge.

DAY 7: TREKKING COLCA CANYON: MALATA – POOL – CABANACONDE   (B-L-D) 

In the morning after breakfast, we continue our trek to the town of Malata and Sangalle, here we have some time to enjoy the swimming pool and have lunch. In the afternoon we ascend to the town of Cabanaconde. Spend the night.

DAY 8: TREKKING CANYON OF COLCA: CROSS OF THE CONDOR – CHIVAY – AREQUIPA   (B-BL) 

In the morning after breakfast, we leave by bus to visit the Cross of the Condor where we shall appreciate the condors in their majestic flight. Transfer to Chivay, Thermal Medicinal Baths at La Calera. Return to Arequipa. Spend the night.

DAY 9: AREQUIPA – DEPARTURE TO PUNO   (B) 

In the morning there is free time. In the afternoon we leave for the destination of Puno. Transfer to the hotel. Spend the night.

DAY 10: LAKE TITICACA - UROS AND TAQUILE   (B-TL) 

Tour in the morning of the Floating Islands of Uros and the Island of Taquile, getting to know the people and the culture. In the afternoon return to Puno. Spend the night.

DAY 11: TURISTIC ROUTE MANCO CAPAC: PUNO – CUSCO   (B-BL)

Tour on the route from Puno to Cusco, appreciating La Raya (Knot of the Andean Range), Raqchi (Temple of the god Wiracocha), Andahuaylillas (The Cistene of America), arrival in Cusco, transfer to the hotel. Spend the night.

DAY 12: CUSCO - CITY TOUR AND NEARBY RUINS   (B)   “YOU CHOOSE”

City Tour in the City of Cusco, visiting the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha, Tambomachay, Puca pucara, Kinko and Sacsayhuaman. Return to the hotel. Spend the night. 

DAY 13: CUSCO – SALKANTAY - MOLLEPATA – MARKOKASA -  SORAYPAMPA   (B-L-D) 

Very early we leave Cusco for Mollepata, breakfast on the way, here we see the Mirador of the Three Crosses, lunch. In the afternoon we visit Markokasa, Choquekiclla and arrive at Soraypampa where we make camp and spend the night.

DAY 14: SORAYPAMPA – SALKANTAY PAMPA –  PASO SALKANTAY – COLLPAMPA   (B-L-D) 

This day we spend at the foot of Apu  Salkantay, there we have an Inca Ceremony. We lunch in the dominating point of Huayrac. Later we start to descend in the direction of Challhuaypampa, following the  Río Salkantay, in this place we camp.

DAY 15: COLLPAMPA – LA PLAYA – LUCMABAMBA   (B-L-D) 

Early we continue our excursion to the high Andean jungle, here we can appreciate numerous species of flowers including orchids, birds of different colours, taste fruits like the granadilla, oranges, bananas. Lunch and in the afternoon we leave for Lucmabamba where we camp.

DAY 16: LUCMABAMBA – PATALLACTA - HIDROELECTRIC – AGUAS CALIENTES   (B-L-D) 

We make our ascent to the archaeological spot of Patallacta. After we descend for 1 hour, passing beautiful waterfalls. Lunch, we continue on our way to Machupicchu town passing by the Waterfall of Mandor. In the afternoon we visit the Thermal Baths of Aguas Calientes and spend the night in hotel.

DAY 17: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO   (B-L) 

Very early we make our way to the Ancient City of Machupicchu, where we arrive in time to see the magnificent dawn, describing the history and importance of this place.  Later we have some free time to climb  Huaynapicchu. In the evening we return to Cusco in train.  Transfer to the hotel and spend the night.

DAY 18: REST IN CUSCO   (B) 

Free time to relax. Spend the night.

DAY 19: CUSCO – LIMA   (B-SD)   “YOU CHOOSE” 

Transfer to the airport to the destination of the city of Lima.  Arrival and hotel transfer.  Special dinner, courtesy of Cumbres Andinas. 

DAY 20: DEPARTURE   (B)

Transfer to the Jorge Chávez Inernational airport at the indicated tour to take the outward bound flight.
