Lima - Puno - Cusco

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PERU

Assistance with your arrival in the Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima and transport to the hotel to spend the night.

DAY 2: LIMA - CITY TOUR – DEPARTURE TO PUNO (JULIACA) – SILLUSTANI   (B-WL)

City Tour in the morning, visiting  the Plaza San Martín, the main Plaza of Lima, the Government Palace, Basílica Catedral, Archbishop’s Palace, Municipal Palace, Convent and Church of San Francisco and the famous Catacombs. In the afternoon we fly to Juliaca-Puno, transfer to the hotel in Puno, and on the way we will visit the Chullpas of Sillustani and the Lake Umayo. Installation in the hotel and spend the night.

DAY 3: LAKE TITICACA - UROS AND TAQUILE   (B-TL)

Tour in the morning of the Floating Islands of Uros and the Island of Taquile, getting to know the people and the culture.  In the afternoon we return to Puno. Spend the night.

DAY 4: TURISTIC ROUTE MANCO CAPAC: PUNO – CUSCO   (B-BL)

Tour along the route from Puno to Cusco, appreciating the Raya (Knot of the Andean Mountain range), Raqchi (Temple of the god Wiracocha), Andahuaylillas (La Cistene of America), arrival in Cusco, transfer to the hotel. Spend the night.

DAY 5: CUSCO - CITY TOUR AND NEARBY RUINS   (B)   “YOU CHOOSE”

City Tour in the City of Cusco, visiting the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha, Tambomachay, Puca pucara, Kinko and Sacsayhuaman. Return to the hotel. Spend the night.

DAY 6: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS   (B-BL)

Tour of the Sacred Valley, centre of Incan richness, visitng the archaeological site of Pisac and it’s artesan market, Urubamba, fort and ancient city of Ollantaytambo, town of Chincheros and church. Return to Cusco. Spend the night.

DAY 7: TRAIN – MACHUPICCHU – AGUAS CALIENTES   (B)

Departure in train to Aguas Calientes, the nearest town to the Ancient City of Machupicchu, installation in the hotel and departure in bus to Machupicchu, one of the new 7 wonders of the World, appreciating the magic of the Inca City, the Principal square, the Sacred Solar Clock, the royals and free time to walk around the ancient city, transfer to the hotel. Spend the night.

DAY 8: AGUAS CALIENTES – CUSCO   (B)

Excellent opportunity to get up early and observe a beautiful dawn and jaunt around Aguas Calientes. Optionally you could visit the Thermal Baths. In the afternoon we return by train to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel. Spend the night

DAY 9: MORAY – SALTMINES OF MARAS   (B-BL)

Visit to Moray, gigantic natural pools that were used to construct their terraces with their respective irrigation channels. Later we visit the Saltmines of Maras, and impressive complex of salt exploitation. Return to Cusco.

DAY 10: CUSCO – LIMA   (B-SD)   “YOU CHOOSE”

Transfer to the airport to the destination of the city of Lima.  Arrival and hotel transfer.  Special dinner, courtesy of Cumbres Andinas. 

DAY 11: LIMA DEPARTURE   (B)

Transfer to the Jorge Chávez Inernational airport at the indicated tour to take the outward bound flight.
